Be part of a once-in-a-lifetime celebration centered on Jesus Christ! The Rejoice Team is a group of volunteers serving at Temple Square during the Salt Lake Temple Celebration.
Whether you guide visitors through the temple, spread spontaneous moments of joy throughout Temple Square, or support guests from behind the scenes, there is a place on the Rejoice Team for you!
The Rejoice Team at a Glance
Who: Anyone age 16+ in 2027
Where: Serving throughout Salt Lake Temple Celebration Sites
When: One consistent shift of 3–4 hours per week
How Long: A wave of 8–14 consecutive weeks
Submit By: Application submissions end on July 15th, 2026
When Can I Serve?
Volunteers serve during one of three time periods, called “waves.”
Serve in more than one wave, if you wish!
Wave 1
Feb 22 – May 31, 2027
Wave 2
May 24 – Aug 15, 2027
Wave 3
Aug 9 – Oct 1, 2027
What Can I Do?
Roles are organized into service groups. Read about the most common roles below! When you apply, you will choose your top roles to fit your personality and preferences.
When you apply, you may request to serve with one other person in the same service zone.
