Be Part of the JOY
Be part of a once-in-a-lifetime celebration centered on Jesus Christ! The Rejoice Team is a group of volunteers serving at Temple Square during the Salt Lake Temple Celebration.
Whether you guide visitors through the temple, spread spontaneous moments of joy throughout Temple Square, or support guests from behind the scenes, there is a place on the Rejoice Team for you!
The Rejoice Team at a Glance
Who: Anyone age 16 or older by December 31, 2027
Where: Serving throughout Salt Lake Temple Celebration Sites
When: One shift of 3–4 hours
Submit By: Application submissions end on September 14th, 2026
Plan Your Service
Volunteers must be able to commit to one of the following options:
Serve in a Wave
One Full Wave – Serve 1 shift per week for 8–14 consecutive weeks.
Serve in more than one wave, if you wish!
Wave 1
Feb 22 – May 31, 2027
Wave 2
May 24 – Aug 15, 2027
Wave 3
Aug 9 – Oct 1, 2027
Serve for a Week
One Week – Serve a minimum of 1 shift per day for eight consecutive days (which includes 1 onsite training day).
Please Note: The one-week option is only available for positions within Security, Parking and Transportation.
